I had a cat who could hardly wait for me to empty a box before he would climb inside,curl up and wait for me to make scratching noises on the outside at which he would spark up and whoof a paw over like light.

My Life
I live in a tent
they got free
with the stationery.
They put it up to see.
I went inside
and refused to come out
It is my tent now
without any doubt.
I go in the house
for all my meals
I expect them to be
up to my standard
or else I say
(this would give me away).
I am getting old
I am quite a character
I like most people
but dislike the roughness
raggedness, noisiness
and silliness of
(this would give me away).
I am better
at making up poems
than Sally is,
although she can cook,
garden, and put up tents
better than most.
