Beer makes you bloated,
but whisky is quicker.
I've followed the discourse on this most interesting subject and it sems to
hinge on confidence and how you deal with stage nerves. The bottom line is
do it as often as possible and confidence increases and fear lessens. I run
a regular event in Exeter and I've seen the gamut of readers from over
fierce to tears (no kidding). Depends on who you are and what you want to
get across. Us serial masochists are somewhere in between. I like John
Carley's version that I'm piggy backing on.
