LIFELONG LEARNING
On fine days she sits on a bench by the river
at a point sheltered from cool breezes
and reads books all to do with romance;
no self-improving tomes, unless
the many ways to pant beneath a dark
and mysterious Heathcliffe like hero
counts as credits for keyskills and life
affirming. The suspicion is that the skill
is basic and the need constant,
the place and time to practice important,
as is the teamwork of the two involved.
So, on fine days, she sits on a bench
by the river and laps up the advanced
theory elements and results of advances made.
