Within the terms of the poem (is this a poem?) ideas are like those toys they etc in the sense that both can be played with. In other senses the two items are less noticeably similar, for instance, those toys etc usually come in primary colours whereas it has been my experience that ideas never do. I am very much taken by your suggestion that we might break our teeth on them. `I was just chewing over an idea the other day when I broke a tooth.....I spat it out and found one of those toys etc´ Could these be the opening lines for the latest epic poem?...watch this space. As for further thought...well, I´ll think about it, but if it made you smile I think it´s done it´s job ;-)
