Erm...so you aren´t enjoying it much, then? The description of the morning, at least, is very pleasing with many memorable phrases, like `faltering daffodils´ `socks...like strangled rooks´. I enjoyed the whole piece and even felt that that the opening complaint could be read as slightly tongue-in-cheek.
