I like the progression from conventional anthropomorphism to the wonderfully
poetic imagery of the final stanza.

Computers think.
A telescope
discovers stars.
Kitchen gadgets
slice vegetables.
I sigh in the wind
like a tree.
The road goes
its rolling miles
without me.
The moon abdicates.
Out in the dark
birds throw music
into the silence.
