Thanks, they are there. Didn't spot this will all the dire warnings about
not being able to setup the desktop links going on. Clearly this needs
highlighting.

You can do this sort of thing using CDE, there's loads of documentation
about it if you dig deep, but the next version of Solaris will be based on
GNOME (or the SUN Java Desktop, which may be the same thing), so you may
have that covered.
