Hi Steve,
tried this out and the installer part worked happily under Windows and
Linux. However, I did run into some issues.
Under windows the desktop shortcuts didn't work for me as the default
installation is into "C:\Program Files\STARJAVA", and the name of the jar
file (say C:\Program Files\STARJAVA\lib\frog\frog.jar) wasn't quoted to
protect the space. Also you seem to be using "java.exe", use "javaw.exe"
to avoid a terminal window popping up.
Under Linux the main issue is how to start the applications, since my
desktop couldn't be setuip (can any under UNIX?). It would be nice if you
included some startup scripts along the lines of the starjava cshrc and
login ones.
As for wrapping the new-style classic applications, gets my vote.
Cheers,
Peter.
