I'm running a stardev system and have a ACSIS prototype FITS cube (see
attachment -sorry it is 134 Mb unpacked). When loaded into gaia as a FITS
file, there are no astrometry errors and the RA/DEC positions display
correctly. If, however, I convert it into an ndf using fits2ndf and then
load it into gaia I get the following error message
!! AST: Error in routine AST_FINDFITS.
! astFindFits(FitsChan): Cannot encode floating point value 1e+14 into a FITS header card for keyword 'SFT1_B'.
This is pretty weird as there is neither a keyword SFT1_B or a value of
1e+14 in the FITS header.
The ndf seems to display correctly using kappa display, and if I examine
the ndf in treeview the only unusual thing appears to be the fact that the
WCS component has two SKY-SPECTRUM componeents which appear to be
identical.
Any ideas?
