oops, sorry I didn't field this one, wasn't paying enough attention to
realise that my, ahem, babies were under discussion.
Basically Peter is right, starjava.tar.gz (same content as starjava.zip)
is just intended to carry runtime files. The javadocs are left out since
they would increase the size of it considerably, and they can be got
separately in starjava-docs.zip. I think this is fairly defensible/standard
practice for code distribution, but I knocked up those various archive
files without a huge amount of thought, so I'm not saying that there
aren't better ways to arrange them.
