I rsyn'd everything to my home PC over the weekend and it seemed to work
fine. However when I did a
./mk deinstall
./mk unbuild
then a
./mk build
there were a small number of files missing or in the wrong place. Probably
my fault, but I'll check again this evening.

Dave,
Yip, rsync is an unreliable beast; keep trying, it may eventually work!
I have changed the group to cvs for everything in /stardev, just in case
some files are not world readable.

This command (with timj->dsb) succesfully copied loads of stuff and then
gave:
rsync error: some files could not be transferred (code 23) at main.c(1045)
Is this anything to worry about? The last file copied was
sources/xrt/libxrt_sub.a. The only "main.c" I can find in /stardev/sources
is saoimage/panel/main.c, so presumably the failure to copy main.c did not
prevent later files being copied succesfully???
