“Spectroscopy and Dynamics of Molecular Aggregates, Chains and Coils”

11 research groups from the Physics and Chemistry Departments at the
University of Goettingen and the local Max Planck Institute of Biophysical
Chemistry explore intermolecular interactions and their implications for
biological and polymer sciences, using a range of spectroscopic techniques
and other tools. More than 20 PhD students receive interdisciplinary
training and organize joint seminars, workshops and practical courses.
Motivated students holding or finalizing an outstanding M.Sc or Diploma
degree in Physics or Chemistry and who are interested in this research
field are encouraged to apply for tax-free 2-3 year scholarships. They
range from 1103 to 1407 Euro per month, depending on age, family status,
and excellence. Goettingen is a lovely city in the heart of Germany. Its
