The Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick wishes continue
its expansion of experimental physical chemistry through the appointment
of a new Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in experimental physical chemistry /
chemical physics. You will have a strong national and international
reputation for research and a proven track record in attracting research
council funding. Your scientific area will both complement and strengthen
the current research activities within the department. In addition to
research excellence you will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to
teaching excellence at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The
Department of Chemistry is a grade 5(A) research department in which
current research interests are loosely grouped under the themes of:
Mass Spectrometry and Chemical Physics,
Interfaces and Materials,
Theory and Computation,
Synthesis and Catalysis,
Chemical Biology.
The starting date for this position is negotiable but it is hoped that the
post will be filled by Jan 1 2005.
