Dear Colleague
The Faraday Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) are pleased to
announce details of the 130th Faraday Discussion, focussing on Atmospheric
Chemistry. The meeting will be held at the University of Leeds, UK, 11 - 13
April 2005.
Organising Committee
Dwayne Heard (Chairman), Martyn Chipperfield, Hugh Coe, Tony Cox, John
Plane, A R Ravishankara and John Remedios
Discussion meetings are unique to the RSC. Short presentations are made
(based on preprinted papers) followed by a lengthy and lively discussion by
a truly international audience. Each paper presented is published as a
Faraday Discussions Volume.
New and unpublished experimental and theoretical work will be presented in
the following areas:
(1) Gas phase spectroscopy, chemical kinetics and photochemistry
(2) Atmospheric processes at the air/liquid and air/solid interface
(3) Chemical field measurements in the atmosphere and instrument
development
(4) Development of chemical mechanisms and interpretation of field data
through modelling
(5) Satellite measurements
(6) Interaction of atmospheric chemistry and climate change
I hope that you may be interested in submitting a paper for presentation at
this meeting. The deadline for oral abstracts is 24 May 2004, abstracts
should be sent by email attachment to Christine Hall ([log in to unmask])
with the following subject header 05FD130 Oral Abstract.
Invited papers will be presented by:
