2nd Annual Conference: "Getting the Message Across: Social Justice in
the Real World"

Advance Notice and First Call for Papers
We welcome papers and suggestions for workshops from researchers and
practitioners working in the area of social justice with a particular
interest in the relationship between social justice research and social
justice in action. Abstracts that focus on international, national and
local issues are invited. We welcome papers being delivered in
accessible language for a diverse audience. We are especially interested
in abstracts in the following areas: -
Research - Politics and Action
For example: - Links between research and policy; Relationships
between funding bodies, researchers and party politics.
Research - Presentation and Audiences
For example: - Talking to academic, political, professionals and lay
audiences; Engaging with the Media.
Research - Practice and Theory
For example: - Reporting on Issues of method, methodology and
epistemology, theoretical considerations and concerns.
Abstracts of no more than 150 words should be emailed as a Word
attachment, or sent on a disk in Word format by 15th March 2004 to: -
