Dear Colleague,
There are some spare places at the CETL seminars on 2nd and 4th
March respectively and 'throwing it open' has been proposed (at this
fairly short notice). Places will be allocated on a first-come basis.
The Higher Education Academy CETL Briefing Seminars, Tues 2nd
and Thurs 4th March 2004
http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/CETLs/events.asp
If you are preparing a proposal under the HEFCE "Centres for
Excellence in Teaching and Learning" call
http://www.hefce.ac.uk/Pubs/hefce/2004/04_05/
then it is possible that you (or someone from your group working on an
proposal) might benefit from attending a briefing seminar (VCs were
recently invited to nominate two institutional representatives to attend).
The Academy is able to offer a limited number of places on a
first-come first-served basis. If you (or a colleague) are not booked yet
and wish to request a place, please complete the booking form and
return it to Bob Hunter by close on Thursday 26 February 2004, either
by email to [log in to unmask]
or by fax to 01904 754599.
For more information about the call and the seminars
visit http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/CETLs/
This event offers an excellent opportunity to meet staff of the Academy
who will provide ongoing support throughout the CETL initiative.
We look forward to welcoming you to the events.
Kind regards,
Bob Hunter
