Not quite so many bits and pieces can be taken apart without being
splintered apart with a hammer/crowbar. In my day (cue daft seventies
music) you could nick things from the bin and unscrew them with a
screwdriver when mum wasn't looking.
Meccano was very popular and much trumpeted by the brilliant Harry Kroto
(Isn't meccano in his Nobel speech?) But that died too. Perhaps that is
why Harry is leaving.
