Jen is absolutely right. "common sense" is an oxymoron anyway. Each
person's view on what is right and proper is anything but common. The SDA
has provided many safeguards for women in our country. It should not be
ridiculed and ignored.
Suppose people with blue eyes were not allowed to go to university; people
with brown eyes were not allowed to be primary school teachers. Suppose
people with brown eyes were not allowed to be employed as chefs; people
with blue eyes were not allowed to hold senior positions in companies.
Would this be fair?
Besides, "common sense" is irrelevant; the law is an ass.
