6.00 - 7.00 pm, Tuesday 2 March 2004
Upstairs in the GW pub, opposite the train station
FREE, everyone welcome
Is it possible to tell whether somebody is lying just by looking at them?
How do some people seem to transmit an air of command that others feel
compelled to respond to? And can you tell whether somebody fancies you
before you take a chance on talking to them?
Dr Harry Witchel from the University of Bristol is your guide through the
fascinating world of non-verbal communication, in which even something as
simple as a smile can mean anything from "I love you" to "I'm going to kill
you".
