We have quite a large collection of novels (and plays) with scientific themes in the Wellcome Library collection. Some of the authors you won't be able to ask (Huxley, Mary Shelley, HG Wells), but there's lots of living authors included here too, eg:
Margaret Attwood (Oryx and Crake)
David Lodge (Thinks ...)
Michael Crichton (Prey, Jurassic Park)
Ian McEwan (Enduring love)
You can browse these titles on the Wellcome Library catalogue at http://catalogue.wellcome.ac.uk/. To browse all in this section, change the drop-down menu (which defaults to 'Word') to 'Info Serv classmark' and type in the classmark for the science-in-fiction subject area which is HHL.
Best wishes
