Einstein Year Talk available
łAlbert Einstein and the Mystery of Light˛ is an accessible and entertaining
(so they tell me) historical introduction to Special Relativity by way of
the Luminiferous Aether, the Michelson-Morley experiment, and ideas about
the nature of light from Descartes and Newton onwards.
The show is illustrated with a rogues gallery of famous physicists (with
varying amounts of facial hair) and several plausible explanations and
demonstrations of key experiments in the development of ideas about light
and relativity. It is suitable for audiences age about 14 to adult and will
play well in any size venue from an intimate seminar of 15 to the largest
lecture theatre.
łAlbert Einstein and the Mystery of Light˛ is an ideal introduction to work
of Einstein, and would go well in any programme of events designed to mark
Einstein Year.
