Science Communications Manager
£21,332 - £29,864 per annum (under review) plus final salary or stakeholder pension. 2 year fixed term contract.
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic individual to project manage the development and implementation of an interactive science and technology centre called 'The Zone'. You will have a central role in expanding and supporting the public's engagement of science and technology, and a key role in ensuring high public awareness of 'The Zone'.
Qualified to degree level you will have a minimum of 3 years experience developing, delivering and evaluating science and technology exhibitions to a wide range of audiences, ideally within the public sector. You will have an understanding of different learning styles and experience accommodating these through science learning materials, programmes and exhibitions. Networking skills would be advantageous to help develop contacts with external agencies and potential partners. You will have a flair for project management, excellent communication skills and staff management experience.
