In collaboration with senior colleagues, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring the Society maximises its influence with key audiences including parliamentarians, senior representatives of the private and public sectors and opinion formers generally. The Royal Society has an exciting and wide ranging programme of activities aimed at supporting cutting edge research, influencing science policy and communicating science.
We wish to appoint a highly proactive individual who will provide imaginative and energetic leadership of the Marketing and PR team. Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally have a relevant professional qualification, at least five years experience of marketing and PR work in a managerial capacity and excellent contacts.
