Hi All,
I am a trustee of a in a small medical research charity called Diving Diseases
Research Centre (DDRC) in Plymouth which has just established the post of
Research Director and is looking for someone fill it. Our research fund is
increasing and our medical director can no longer do both jobs. I was hoping
list members would pass on this information to anyone you think might be
interested. Also, does anyone know where we might be able to get lists of
email addresses of academic departments with staff who might be interested in
such a post?
DDRC's research aim is to investigate the physiolgical effects of exposure to
high pressure environments (barometric pressure not psychological pressure)
especially breathing oxygen in a high pressure environment.
We are looking for someone who has a background in biomedical research and who
would be good at collaboration with researchers carrying out projects in a
wide variety of fields. This would (initially) be a part-time post and so
could be held in conjunction with a part-time academic position. More
information is on the DDRC website:

Thank you,
Lesley
