The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester is seeking to appoint the
following positions to join our Public Programmes Team.
ASSISTANT PRESENTERS X 2
(WORKING ALTERNATE WEEKENDS)
£10,434 pa pro rata plus weekend enhancements
Reporting to the Public Programmes Manager, you will be responsible for
welcoming visitors to our hands on Xperiment Gallery, explaining the
interactives and gallery presentation. You will also be involved with
assisting the Public Programmes team in the running of Science Shows and
other events.
Successful candidates will have at least 5 GCSE's or equivalent with at
least one science subject. Relevant experience in a quality, customer
focused environment. You will have a proven track record of communicating
effectively to a wide audience and be a dynamic team player with excellent
interpersonal skills.
