Hi all. I think it is a terrific idea, but what are the legal implications
of making PDF files of copyrighted publications available over the internet
(e.g. most journals charge for PDF files in lieu of paper reprints), and
posting on the net, irrespective of password control, them may be in breach
of copyright agreements ? I'd be interested in hearing others' opinions on
this. Regards, John Hooper

Dear Klaus
I think that it would be great idea for people to post there citations on
the Porifera list site. Maybe we can also establish a link on the Porifera
site (with only list members having access through a password) were we can
post pdf files to, for people to download (maybe this is not possible due to
publication rights, but we can always try). This will certainly help those
scientist who do have limited access to journals.

Dear Klaus
I agree totally with your idea of spreading the info around the
porifera-list regarding new publication/articles, you can not imagine how
far this will help/support us, scientist from non OECD countries. Regarding
the list you sent us, I'll will send you a separate mail. Thanks a lot Kerim
