Dear Pamela,
My reply to your question is rather similar to Ralph Graham's. The new
Orthoscanner system appears to be what you are looking for since the images
are collected very rapidly on all planes simultaneosly rather than
sequentially. This allows for 3D visualisation at any micro-second during
gait or testing. Additionally, dynamic and active movement and compensation
can be measured to computer accuracy as opposed to measurement of passive
movement on a couch with protractor like instruements. It is really just a
big step forward in the understanding of biomechanical disorder.
