Had a similarly affected gas worker.(roadside pipes, not indoor)
No mention was made of Hi vis vest as an issue. But we advised he always
worked with a "mate " during the wasp season, no lone working, and he
carried epipen.
If it is a yellow vest that is the problem ,orange or fluorescent green
might be alternative? Might have to be specially made...
