Hi All,
Am I alone in thinking why are union representatives involved in
consultations, what possible information do they have to impart. The role
of the consultation is surely to discuss the patients medical condition
and then report on there fitness to perform their tasks. I would be
concerned at having union representation at a consultation as this
undermines OH role as company advocte.Reports following consultation
should be open for the patient to view so if they wish to discuss the
outcome with there rep before seeing HR then they are free to do so.
