Hello
You can change your subscription settings in a number of ways. Here are some:
1. Click on the link at the bottom of this message, and on the List
Homepage, click on Subscribers Corner. You can then subscribe to a Digest,
which will give you a summary of mailings once a day rather than as they come.
2. If under Tools or Special on your menu, you have 'Filter Messages' (not
all email programmes have this), you should be able to create a separate
folder for all messages from the list. All you need to do is to instruct
your computer to send all emails addressed to <[log in to unmask]>
straight into the new folder. Then you can deal with them at your leisure,
or even dump them if you haven't got time, bearing in mind that at any time
you can go to the archives (through the footer at the bottom of this page)
and look up previous mailings by author, category, date or keywords.
As promised before Christmas, there are some improvements planned, which
will help to make the list more manageable.
Please do not get too impatient. The list is growing rapidly, which is
evidence of its popularity. As it grows, we will try to make the
adjustments necessary to ensure that it doesn't become unmanageable. You
can help by ensuring that messages which should be private do not end up on
the list.
