I understand that people like myself may jump to conclusions that are not
necessarily the correct ones. But the reason for this is due to believing
that this is an arena for professional discussion and not an internet chat
room. I think that if a person expresses a professional opinion that a
person disagrees with, they should be challenged with constructive criticism
and not with personal quips concerning its contents.
I know from past entries that some other people find "put downs" quite
disconcerting and also intimidating. I am not one of those people but do
find it tiresome.
Humor is fine but can be taken as the person making light or fun of a
persons opinion.
I realise that this is getting out of hand so I will not comment further on
this matter so that hopefully the system can resume its discussion on
professional issues in Occupational Health.
Best wishes.
Saghir.
P.S. Can anyone help me to unsubscibe, I am sure their is a specific person
I need to write to but I do not have their e-mail address.
Thanks
