In this University we report directly to the head of administration.
Looking at universities overall in the UK - of those who have an OHS at
all, in the larger ones, it is common to report in to a senior general
manager in this way. For the smaller services, and some of the larger
ones, some report in to HR and some to H&S. So there is no logic or
pattern - whatever works - Kate

Dear all
I would be very grateful if anyone is willing to give information on
where
Occupational Health ' sits' within their organisation eg within HR,
Safety
or stand alone, and the rationale for this (if there is any!). Also,
information on the reporting structure, and where organisations are
widespread, on UK and global reporting structure.
Many thanks
Regards
Margaret
