Greta and all,
Lesley is correct, they have been doing some research work at Unilever
on health on productivity. I was involved in a small way at Unilever
and I have had some recent discussions with them in my last job in
contract logistics but this did not materialise into anything.
They are an up market health screening, health promotion company and I
think it would be fair to say they have an American approach with some
screening facilities in London and have an internet based health
information/promotion service that organisations can purchase. Compared
to standared medical screening they offer a lot more tests to
individuals and give them a lot more attention .. At a cost
I am waiting to see the UK research on health and productivity but last
time I discussed it with them I understood it (correctly I hope) will be
published with the Institute of Health and productivity Management
www.ihpm.org
I think they are keen to work with OH and think I noticed somewhere
recently that they are starting to do something in Bedford.. May be for
the police there? I cannot remember the details so please do not quote
me on this.
Paul Squires is their Sales director if you want to know more. I think
his email is [log in to unmask]
Best wishes
Margaret
