Dear OH colleagues,
I have today sent the attached open letter to the NMC. You will see that I
strongly feel the title 'OH Nurse' needs to be registerable, (and therefore
legally protected), particularly with the proposal that OH nurses are to be
subsumed in to the Public Health grouping in Part3 of the new NMC register.
Therefore, I would welcome any comment that you may care to throw my way,
however, more importantly should you agree with my comments I would ask
that you show your support in a practical manner by lobbying both the RcN
and the NMC for this change.
