Am I wrong in beleiving that the requirement is to offer assessments and that employees are under no obligation to have these? I have always found a small proportion of workers are reluctant to complete them and have not insisted but then these individuals are not the ones who want to avoid working nights

Does the factory appreciate that this calls for a health assessment of all
who are likely to work nights, as required under the Working Time Regs?
Perhaps a good starting point would be to get all the workers to complete a
simple night workers' health questionnaire. That may then make it easier to
identify issues that need to be followed up with GP.
