Gillian, I have found that one point to bear in mind with lighting levels
for DSE users is whether or not they are using standard CRT (television type
screens) or the TFT (flat screens). The TFT screens are normally slightly
brighter in themselves, therefore the room levels can afford to be a bit
less to compensate. Do the users know how to reduce the brightness/contrast
of their screens (both types) to suite themselves??.
