AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT DISCUSSION OF THE WCDR?
On 22 November and onwards for two weeks, the computer services people
at Oberlin College, where I am visiting prof of environmental studies,
will help me host an international student discussion of the issues to
be taken up in Kobe. This is a modest affair -- a opportunity for my
students and English speaking students elsewhere to exchange views. By
"student" I include undergrads, grad students, and trainees in the kinds
of training courses that have become common in
parts of Asia and Africa. The soft ware available is quite flexible, so
although I'll launch the discussion with some key questions, they will
be encouraged to develop other "threads" of discussion.
So anyone interested in getting their students plugged into this brief
international exchange should please email me ([log in to unmask] ). I
hope to have a record of the exchange (in the form of an archive) for
the use of the ISDR and anyone else who would find it useful.
Thanks for the invitation and my very best wishes,
BEN
