FACULTY INTERN - PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY
The University of Utah Department of Chemistry seeks a faculty intern to
participate in sponsored research projects and to teach physical chemistry
classes at both the graduate and undergraduate level. A Ph.D. in Chemistry
and prior teaching experience are required.
The successful candidate will participate in research projects involving
condensed-phase reaction kinetics, thermal decomposition of energetic
materials and high-performance computer simulations. Because the research
requires access to computer resources at U.S. national laboratories, U.S.
citizenship is strongly preferred. The University of Utah is fully
committed to affirmative action and to its policies of nondiscrimination
and equal opportunity in all programs, activities, and employment with
regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, status as a person with a
