CHAIR in Fundamental Surface Science
The research of the Leiden Institute of Chemistry of Leiden
University is focused on two themes, i.e. "chemistry of life from
molecule to cell" and "chemistry of sustainable energy and
materials". Within the framework of the research focused on the
latter theme, applications are invited for a full-time permanent post
of Professor, who will perform and lead experimental research within
a research theme that can be summarized as: "Physical processes and
chemical reactions at complex surfaces". The successful candidate is
expected to initiate and lead innovative research on one or more
challenging physical chemistry topics that fit within this wider area.
