Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the Sixth International Conference on
Chemical Kinetics will convene between 25-29 July 2005 on the campus of the
National Institute of Standards and Technology (Gaithersburg, MD, USA). The
conference website, which will be updated often, is:
http://www.cstl.nist.gov/div838/kinetics2005/
This conference series, inaugurated in 1978, brings scientists together to
discuss fundamental issues associated with experimental and theoretical
methodologies of chemical kinetics in all physical phases. To accelerate the
inclusion of chemical kinetics data into computational simulations (e.g., of
flames, atmospheres, and semiconductor processing), the conference will
encourage dialogue between the producers and consumers of these data. Topics
will include state-of-the-art laboratory rate measurements, computational
studies of chemical reactions, and process simulations that incorporate
detailed rate data.
The Conference will feature nine oral sessions and three poster sessions. We
hope to receive your titles and abstract(s) for oral and poster
presentations by 15 May 2005. The on-line Registration Desk will open in
February and we expect to offer a block of hotel rooms at a conference rate.
We look forward to seeing you in July 2005.
Sincerely,
The organizing committee:
Jeffrey Hudgens, Chair
Jeffrey Manion, Chair
Wing Tsang
Thomas Allison
Donald Burgess
