TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
EXPERIMENTAL ATOMIC, MOLECULAR AND CHEMICAL PHYSICS

The Department of Physics & Astronomy invites applications to fill an Assistant Professor
position in experimental atomic, molecular and chemical physics. Applicants should have a
Ph. D. with experience in the wider area of atomic, molecular or chemical physics.
We are particularly interested in applicants with interests that complement current strengths
in the department. Possible areas include cold collisions, atom/molecule cooling and trapping,
or applications to laboratory astrophysics and atmospheric physics. Other areas include the
spectroscopy and dynamics of biomolecules or areas providing a bridge with nanoscience or
biophysics.
