synchrotron radiation at the Advanced Light Source (ALS) in Berkeley,
California is available immediately for the right candidate. You will
join a dynamic and growing program in photoionization of atoms,
molecules, ions and clusters utilizing existing apparatus, and also have
the opportunity to develop new experiments in electron and ion
spectroscopy. Experience with synchrotron radiation, electron and ion
spectroscopies, laser techniques and ion beams are assets although not
