Further to Russell Wear's posting, in the book 'West Yorkshire Coalfield'
compiled by John Goodchild, there is a photo on page 66 of 'a loco said to
have been supplied in 1922 by Pecketts of Bristol for Newlands St John's
Colliery, near Normanton'.
In the same book, on page 59 there are two photos showing the use of
compartment boats as the colliery had both standard staiths and also a
unique coal loading system onto the Navigation.
