Hi list,
I’m brand new to this list so therefore I don’t know if this message
will be accepted.
I gave a lecture on the mineral concurrencies of Wheal Drea (Kenidjack
Valley near St. Just) in an English mineralogical society last January.
As an extension to this I’m asked to write something together on this
locality.
For that I would like to use two old maps:
- A section of an undated (early 1860) W.B. Symons map which shows the
ore lodes.
- A part of an old (1887-1888) Ordnance Survey map. I don’t have any
references of this map, but this map shows that Wheal Drea was mined for
tin.
Does anyone on the list know if these maps may be used freely or to whom
I need to ask permission?
Very kind regards,
De Nul, Richard
