Found a settlement "Bargus or Bargis" on the Cornwall on line 1841 census,
Enumeration district 12, Folio 42 p8 . No idea where it is though! An
assortment of copper miners are listed.

Subject: Crukbargis Moor
Does anyone have any idea of the whereabouts of 'Crukbargis Moor' as
mentioned in the 14th century 'White Book of Tenure in Cornwall' . It was
here that 'Abraham the tinner' employed 500 men, women and children at two
mines and four stream workings. I have tried all sorts of sources - but
failed so far. Any suggestions would be most helpful.
