But, seriously, this thread could run and run, and is not really
mining-history. I would encourage all of you to seriously consider your
system security and way you handle e-mails. A text based message from the
list is not a threat but attachments are, so we don't allow them on the
list. Think hard about discarding some of the fancy browser based
applications, and never open unsolicited attachments.
I've had one message off list which suggests that Graham's suggestion on
spiking your address book is defective and, like so many suggestions, could
be a ruse which leads you further into the mire. Contact me off list and
I'll send you the information provided by David Poyner.
So, no more on virus please. Just make sure you work in a safe digital
environment.
