Two posts, recently advertised by the University of Oxford, may be of
interest to subscribers to Mersenne. The posts are a new university
lecturership in the history of medicine (associated with a fellowship at St
Cross College) and a university lectureship in modern history (with a
fellowship at St Anne's College). While the person appointed to the
lecturership in modern history will be expected to have a broad competence
in early modern intellectual history, candidates specializing in the
history of science in the period are strongly encouraged to apply.
