As some of you may be aware, I am taking early retirement from NMS with
effect from the end of this month. At present myself and Angus Kneale,
also at NMS, are co-listowners. Back in the dim and distant days of
Mailbase, when I inherited this onerous post from Tony Gill, of fond
memory <hi Tony if you're out there!>, listowners had to have an ac.uk
address. I'm not sure that still applies, but if it does, I'll have to
resign the position. Otherwise I am happy to carry on from my personal
e-mail address, which is [log in to unmask] I get so much spam
there that giving the address out here shouldn't make too much
difference. If it is not possible to carry on, we shall be seeking a
volunteer to share the workload.
I intend to remain a member of the MCG for as long as possible, partly
because I might need to seek the odd bit of freelance work from time to
time (though probably not in earnest until well into the new year), so
please bear me in mind for any little, preferably extremely well-paid,
tasks that you think I might be able to help with - anything from data
entry upwards!
Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to my first extended holiday in over 31
years of working in museums......
