Hello,
this is the first announcement for the Museums Computer Group's 2004 AGM and
summer meeting in Birmingham on 8th July 2004.
The meeting is kindly being co-hosted by Birmingham Institute of Art and
Design & Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
The AGM and summer meeting will be held in BIAD's School of Art which is on
Margaret Street, Birmingham, just around the corner from Birmingham Museum
and Art Gallery in the centre of Birmingham.
The booking form and programme for this meeting will shortly be posted onto
the MCG website www.museumscomputergroup.org.uk
There will be two committee vacancies to fill at the AGM, as after many
years of excellent support to the group our current Secretary / Treasurer
Stuart Mann and our Newsletter Editor Sue Julian-Ottie will both be
resigning at the AGM.
We are therefore looking for members of the group to take over these posts.
If you are interested in either position please contact either Stuart on
[log in to unmask] or Sue on [log in to unmask] for a
discussion about what the posts involve.
I would actively encourage members to consider these posts and if you are
currently doing your AMA it would be a good networking opportunity to take.
As part of the summer meeting there will be an opportunity for members to
give databursts, so please do contact me if you would like to give a
databurst.
With Best Wishes and I look forward to seeing you in Birmingham on 8th July.
Debbie Richards
Chair of the Museums Computer Group
