Thanks Deborah
Might it not be an idea for a meeting to be held with a cross section of
those who had concerns, with Honorary Officers, perhaps out of London, as
this also was one of the concerns?

Subject: CILIP: members' concerns - statement from Honorary Officers
Discussion on LIS-CILIP during the last few weeks shows that some CILIP
members are not convinced that CILIP is addressing their concerns and
needs in the way they expect of their professional organisation. Even
more worrying is that some of these members are not fully aware of
services which CILIP can provide to them.
We, your Honorary Officers, take these issues very seriously and shall
discuss them fully at our next Executive Board meeting. We shall report
the outcome of this discussion to members as soon as we can through the
CILIP website, LIS-CILIP and the Gazette and Update.
Meanwhile, please remember that we are always happy to discuss with you
any concerns you may have about how CILIP is meeting your needs.
